We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about making a difference to help us build out what we think is a real game changer. By providing easy-to-use Web Marketing and CRM tools and Marketing services, Barefoot is poised for an exciting next stage in our growth.

As our Business Development Manager, you work with a team bringing innovative CRM and Marketing solutions and services to market and are directly responsible for all aspects of prospect and customer sales engagement. You will plan, partner and engage with our existing and prospective customers to help their organizations grow. Your role on Our Team:

  • Coordinate top-of-funnel demand generation for new and existing customers
  • Research, contact, and qualify leads (inbound and outbound)
  • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts
  • Lead and outreach efforts, including calling and emailing prospects
  • Understand our software, the problems it solves, competitors and industry trends
  • Collaborate with other team members on sales calls, demos, and pitches
  • Develop new sales areas and markets
  • Create sales presentations for potential clients
  • Track and manage individual sales metrics in CRM
  • Strategize with the team (product, eng, marketing), identify and prioritize new revenue sources, and suggest future product roadmap based on market trends

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 3-5 years experience in a mid-level BD role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability plan and organize sales presentations
  • Knowledge in preparing sales forecasts and budgets
  • Comfortable owning and developing customer relationships
  • A persistent and positive attitude toward the role, follow up with prospects, and track progress to close
  • Extremely self-motivated with diligent work ethic
  • Competitive, quick learner, able to take initiative, excellent at problem solving

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Not-for-Profit experience
  • Working with Faith-based organizations and other NFPs
  • CRM familiarity
  • Working with marketing software
